There are still a few states that permit licensed re-builders to process this type of title branding to a salvage branded title. These vehicles may then be repaired and issued a rebuilt title just like any other salvage title vehicle in the other 30 states following the Salvage/Rebuild Process. The one issue is that the vehicle will not be able to be titled back in the state that originally placed the Irreparable brand on the vehicle. Irreparable titled vehicles are not eligible for registration, insurance or financing and in that regard are similar to a salvage titled vehicle.

2011 Nissan Versa in Very Good condition.2011 Nissan Versa, 4 door hatchback with grey exterior and black cloth interior, listed in very good condition. The car has been driven a little more than 95,000 miles. Oil changes have been regularly performed using a 50/50 mix of conventional and synthetic oils. The interior and exterior are in very good condition. There are no dents in the body nor stains in the interior. The only known exterior blemish is a cracked wheel cover (hub cap) which can be seen in the last photo. We recommend replacing the driver side floor mat as that does show expected wear in a car with this mileage. We purchased the car as “USED” in 2014 and since then, it has had absolutely no mechanical issues. Recently, the car has had a completed recall service performed involving front and side airbag replacement. The windshield is brand new (courtesy of a road hazard involving a small stone hitting the glass and cracking it). The serpentine fan belt has also just been replaced within the past month. At the time of recall service for the airbag replacement, the dealer noted the following status for remaining brake pad and tire tread life, all of which were considered “OK at this time”. Left front tire: 7/32” remaining tread Right front tire: 7/32” remaining tread Left rear tire: 7/32” remaining tread Right rear tire: 7/32” remaining tread Left front brake pad: 6 mm remaining Left rear brake pad: 4mm remaining Right front brake pad: 6 mm remaining Right rear brake pad: 4 mm remaining Also, as part of the recall service, the dealer recommended replacement of the spark plugs as part of standard maintenance at the 100,000 mile mark. That service has not yet been done.
